Fans demand more screen time for Jasmine and Kavan
Love Island fans have expressed frustration over the apparent 'disappearance' of Jasmine and Kavan from recent episodes of the ITV2 dating show. Viewers have taken to social media to demand more airtime for the couple, with some threatening to stop watching altogether.
Since making up after the drama of Casa Amor, Jasmine and Kavan have scarcely been featured, leading to a wave of complaints. One fan posted on Instagram: 'Boring episode. I need Jas and Kav back on my screen.' Another commented: 'This show is literally nothing without Jasmine. I'm not watching anymore.'
Love triangle drama dominates villa
The main storyline currently revolves around Finley, who is caught in a love triangle between newcomer Elicia and fan favourite Ellie. On Monday, July 13, Finley faced backlash after kissing Elicia on a date, only to show mixed emotions upon returning to the villa. Fans have urged Ellie to 'stand on business' and called for a major shake-up.
However, many viewers are distracted by the lack of coverage of Jasmine and Kavan. One fan wrote: 'Why won't you show Jasmine and Kavan? It's been 5 episodes now where we have not seen them.' Another queried: 'Where's jas and kav?'
Casa Amor aftermath
Jasmine and Kavan's relationship has been through a rocky period. During Casa Amor, Kavan brought bombshell Charleen Murphy back to the main villa, causing significant distress for Jasmine. After confessing she would be 'done' if Kavan chose Charleen, he ultimately recognised his heart belonged with Jasmine and selected her at a recoupling ceremony. Charleen was subsequently eliminated from the villa alongside fellow bombshell Mara.
Now that they are back on track, fans are demanding the pair be sent on a date. One viewer posted on X: 'Nah Jasmine and Kavan deserve a date. We don't care about these irrelevant couples.' Another added: 'Praying, Jasmine and Kavan on a date this week.'
