Love Island fans have expressed their frustration over the limited screen time given to couple Jasmine and Kavan, just days before the series finale. Viewers have taken to social media to demand more coverage of the pair, who have been largely absent from recent episodes.
Fans Demand More Jasmine and Kavan
Following a dramatic week that saw five Islanders leave the villa, viewers have issued an ultimatum to ITV bosses. Jasmine and Kavan, who reconciled after Casa Amor, have been given minimal airtime, prompting fans to question what is going on. One viewer wrote on social media: 'What is going on? WE WANT TO SEE JASMINE AND KAVAN.' Another added: 'Had enough of Julia on my screen, only started watching this because of Jasmine.'
Concerns Over Jasmine's Feelings
Earlier this week, Jasmine confided in fellow Islander Angie that she felt more invested in the relationship and feared she might withdraw. Despite this, the couple has not been featured prominently, leading fans to brand the situation a 'joke.' A third viewer commented: 'Another episode with no Jasmine or Kavan. It's been a WHOLE WEEK. It's actually insane at this point. They are the only reason I tune in.'
Viewers Threaten to Stop Watching
Some fans have threatened to stop watching if Jasmine and Kavan do not receive more screen time. One wrote: 'If there's no Jas and Kav moments next episode I'm coming to ITV headquarters myself it's that serious at this point.' Another seethed: 'It's a joke now,' while a sixth declared: 'Tomorrow night we better get so many Jas and Kav moments to make up for their lack of screen time this week!'
Storyline Compared to Rom-Com
Despite the lack of airtime, viewers have been 'hooked' on Jasmine and Kavan's storyline, likening it to a 'rom com.' One fan remarked: 'Anyone else glued to their screens every day to see Jas and Kav? Their journey has been one of the most interesting this season. Like I need Kav to confess his feelings and for the grand declaration.'
Call for a Date
Fans have also called for Jasmine and Kavan to be sent on a date, insisting it is what 'they need.' One viewer wrote: 'They need a date to have this sorted. Send them on a date please.' Another added: 'Please give Jas and Kav a date.'
Love Island airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
