Love Island stars Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins have reportedly ended their relationship just weeks after leaving the villa. The couple, who were dumped from the ITV2 show days before the final, struggled with long-distance and conflicting schedules.
Grace, based in Manchester, and Reuben, who lives in London, found it difficult to maintain their romance due to their busy work commitments following their rise to fame. An insider told The Sun: 'Grace and Reuben have come to the mutual decision a romantic relationship isn’t right for either of them at this time. They will remain friends and have no bad feelings towards each other.'
After leaving the villa, Grace had expressed optimism about their future, saying: 'We are going to take every day as it comes but I’m going to go down to Surrey and he’s also planning to visit me in Manchester. I’m excited to see where things go for us.'
However, the distance proved challenging. The insider added that the couple have been 'very busy since leaving the villa' and that the distance has been 'difficult' for them to handle. The Mirror has contacted representatives for comment.
Grace recently appeared on Chloe Burrows' podcast, where she denied split rumours, calling Reuben 'the sweetest guy' she had ever met. She said: 'Obviously, it can be hard because I've been in Manchester and he's been in London. So I think because people don't see us posting each other 24/7 they think we're not together.'
