Katisha, a contestant on Love Is Blind UK, has spoken out after leaving the show following a betrayal by her fiancé Javen. The Scottish nanny broke off their engagement after discovering Javen had flirted with other women.
During the series, Javen, a 28-year-old health coach, openly flirted with rejected contestants Sophie and Aanu while Katisha tried to stay composed. She later found out about his behaviour from another cast member and decided to end the relationship, leaving Javen a note with her engagement ring.
Taking to Instagram, Katisha shared her biggest lesson from the experience: "It's ok to leave a situation that isn't serving you at that time. What's for you will not go by you." She added, "Not all your experiences define you. Even though the internet seems to think otherwise."
Fans have rallied behind Katisha, with one commenting, "Honestly girl you deserve so much more." Another wrote, "We are all so proud of you, you put yourself first." Katisha also posted a clip of her enjoying life post-show, captioned: "Back in the garden where I belong."
Javen has indicated he will share his side of the story once the series concludes, stating, "When the time is right, I will share the FULL story and give you the truth."
