Lorraine Kelly has weighed in on speculation surrounding the future of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning, following reports of a rift between the co-hosts.
Speaking to The Sun, the presenter said that the pair returned to work and it was “business as usual”. She added that she thinks it is “unlikely” either will be fired or replaced, stating: “I would be sad if they left the show, but I don’t think that is ever likely to happen.”
Her comments come after Phillip released a statement denying the feud rumours, insisting he and Holly remain “the best of friends”. He acknowledged that the past few weeks have been difficult, referencing his family’s ordeal and Holly’s support, as well as her recent illness with shingles.
Phillip took extended leave earlier this year after his brother Timothy was found guilty of child sex offences, while Holly was absent from the show last month due to shingles.
