Lorraine Kelly Criticised for Laughing at Micropenis Interview

Lorraine Kelly has faced backlash from viewers after laughing at a segment about a man with the 'world's smallest penis'. The 66-year-old presenter briefly spoke to This Morning's Cat Deeley and Ben Shepard at the end of her programme, where they mentioned guest Michael Phillips, who has a micropenis condition.

Cat Deeley told viewers: 'We're meeting the man with the world's smallest penis,' before Ben Shepard added: 'Yes… a little bit of everything for you today, Lorraine.' After the exchange, Kelly shook her head, saying 'Honestly, honestly,' before bursting into laughter and covering her face.

Viewers took to social media to criticise Kelly, with one writing on X: 'Why is she laughing?' Another called the reaction 'disgusting' for joking at the man's expense. Michael Phillips, 38, was diagnosed with a 0.38-inch micropenis and has undergone unsuccessful fat injections to increase his size.

Meanwhile, Kelly's show has undergone significant changes, now airing on a seasonal basis with a reduced running time of 30 minutes per day. She expressed disappointment on Desert Island Discs, saying: 'The thing that has upset me the most is the fact that we've got this great team, and obviously, that's not going to be in place next year because jobs will go.'
