ITV's Loose Women was pulled off air after just 30 minutes on Friday, July 14, marking the second consecutive day the show was cut short. The episode, which began at 12:30pm, ended at 1pm as the broadcaster switched to news coverage.
On Thursday, July 13, the show was halted after only 20 minutes. Presenter Kaye Adams announced the early finish, explaining that ITV would air the news before covering day one of Newmarket's July Festival at 1:30pm.
Friday's episode featured Kaye Adams, Denise Welch, Kelly Holmes, and Nadia Sawalha discussing topics such as finding love after loss, the cost of living crisis and school proms, and forgiving a partner for hurtful comments. Adams signed off by saying, 'That's it for today, shorter because of the racing.'
The programme is expected to return to its normal schedule on Monday, July 17. ITV Racing: Live from Newmarket continues at 1:30pm with day two coverage, running until 4pm when Tipping Point airs.
ITV is not alone in adjusting its schedule; BBC One pulled The One Show off air on Friday, July 14, due to Wimbledon 2023 coverage from 7pm to 9pm. The One Show will resume its regular slot on Monday, July 17.
