Loose Women was abruptly taken off air on Friday, ending 30 minutes early at 12:55pm instead of its usual 1:30pm finish. The schedule change was due to ITV's coverage of horse racing from Cheltenham.
Host Kaye Adams addressed the early finish, telling viewers: "Hardly any time today because of the racing, we've got a great line-up next week though!" She revealed that Reverend Richard Coles and GK Barry would appear on the show following their stints on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The revised Friday schedule saw Loose Women replaced by ITV Lunchtime News at 1pm, followed by ITV News at 1:20pm and ITV Racing: Live From Cheltenham from 1:30pm to 4pm, with Deal Or No Deal taking over afterwards.
Earlier in the week, panellist Coleen Nolan discussed her plans for a "day of crying" on Thursday's show. The 59-year-old, who recently split from her partner Michael Jones, admitted she often holds in her emotions but intends to let them out in a controlled manner.
Nolan told fellow panellists: "I'm booking a day of crying, I've told my children, it's in the diary, they're getting locked out." She explained that she fears if she starts crying, she won't stop, as it would bring up everything she has held in, including the illness of her sister and the loss of her sister Bernie.
Loose Women continues weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV and ITVX.
