Lewis Capaldi received widespread praise from viewers after performing his new single 'Pointless' on the semi-final results show of Strictly Come Dancing. The West Lothian singer took to the stage on Monday night as professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Katya Jones performed alongside him.
Capaldi, 26, performed the second single from his upcoming second studio album 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent', due for release in May 2023. Fans took to Twitter to compliment the 'Bruises' singer, with one calling his performance 'gorgeous' and another describing his voice as 'flawless'.
The performance came before the judges voted to eliminate actor Will Mellor, who lost the dance-off to Fleur East. The remaining four couples—Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, and Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez—will compete in the final.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Final will air live on Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
