Lewis Capaldi Blackweir Live Cardiff: Set List, Timings, Banned Items

Lewis Capaldi will headline two nights at Blackweir Live in Cardiff's Blackweir Fields on Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The first date sold out, prompting organisers to add a second show to meet demand from Welsh fans.

Line-up and Support Acts

Capaldi will be joined by support acts Jacob Alon and Tyler Ballgame. Jacob Alon, a fellow Scottish singer, rose to prominence on Later...with Jools Holland after releasing their debut single Fairy in a Bottle in 2024. They won the Critic's Choice Award at the Brit Awards in 2026 and are known for songs including Confession, Don't Fall Asleep, and Of Amber. Tyler Ballgame is known for his 60s and 70s inspired music and soulful voice. He released his debut album For the First Time, Again in January 2026, and is known for songs Matter of Taste, Hold and I Believe in Love.

Event Timings and Set List

Event timings have not yet been announced. The set list is based on Capaldi's performance at Marlay Park, Dublin, Ireland on June 24, 2026, and is anticipated to include: Hollywood, Grace, Heavenly Kind of State of Mind, Wish You the Best, Love the Hell Out of You, Almost, Forever, Bruises, Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac cover), Pointless, Something in the Heavens, Before You Go, Fade, The Day That I Die, Hold Me While You Wait, Forget Me, Have You Ever Seen The Rain? (Creedence Clearwater Revival cover), Survive, and Someone You Loved.

Banned Items and Security

Chairs, portable seating, foldable furniture, and inflatables are not permitted. No rucksacks or backpacks larger than A4 size are allowed. Bag searches will be in operation at all entry points. Food and drink cannot be brought into the venue, except for medical or dietary needs with prior approval and supporting documentation. Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs. All bags are subject to search.

Heat Precautions

Due to expected heat, attendees may bring 2 x 500ml sealed water bottles per person (previously one). Additional shaded areas, free water refill stations, and an enhanced welfare team will be on site. Plastic refillable water bottles are permitted. Mini fans are allowed.

Food and Drink

A broad selection of food and drink stalls will be available. Free water refill stations are on site. Each person may bring two sealed water bottles (max 500ml) and two empty reusable bottles. All concessions operate on a cashless basis.

Access and Road Closures

Entry to Blackweir Live is via North Road. The following roads will be closed from 4pm to midnight on event days: Castle Street, Duke Street, Kingsway, North Road from Colum Road to Boulevard De Nantes, Boulevard De Nantes to Park Place, Cowbridge Road East from Cathedral Road to Westgate Street, and the Civic Centre area (King Edward VII Avenue, Museum Avenue, City Hall Road, College Road, Gorsedd Gardens Road). The right-hand turn from Colum Road into Corbett Road will be suspended.

Parking and Buses

No parking is available at Blackweir Live. Public car parks include Civic Centre, Sophia Gardens, St David's Shopping Centre, John Lewis, Capitol Shopping Centre, and NCP (Adam Street, Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road). Local bus services will be diverted; check operators' websites for details. National Express coaches will depart as normal from Sophia Gardens.

Tickets

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster from £86.95 for general admission and £118.45 for premium tickets. Resale site StubHub offers tickets from £68.40. All tickets are mobile entry via the Ticketmaster app. Screenshots of barcodes will not be accepted.
