Lewis Capaldi will headline two major outdoor concerts at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff on Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The Scottish singer follows The Cure and Teddy Swims in this year's Blackweir Live lineup. After the first date sold out, a second was added to meet demand from Welsh fans.
Capaldi is best known for hits including "Before You Go," "Bruises," "Hold Me While You Wait," and the seven-week UK number one "Someone You Loved." He took a hiatus to focus on mental health before returning with new music and a tour that included Cardiff's Utilita Arena. Now he performs at the larger Blackweir Fields.
Support Acts and Event Timings
Supporting Capaldi are Jacob Alon and Tyler Ballgame. Jacob Alon, also Scottish, rose to fame on "Later...with Jools Holland" after releasing their debut single "Fairy in a Bottle" in 2024. They won the Brit Awards Critic's Choice Award in 2026 and are known for songs like "Confession," "Don't Fall Asleep," and "Of Amber." Tyler Ballgame is known for his 1960s- and 1970s-inspired music and soulful voice. He released his debut album "For the First Time, Again" in January 2026, with tracks including "Matter of Taste," "Hold," and "I Believe in Love."
