Katie Price has suffered a 'bad fall' during a horse riding session on Thursday, and is now recovering at home. The 39-year-old former glamour model confirmed the accident on her Instagram page, telling fans she was mending herself with 'cuddles by the fire'.
The incident comes just days after Price was spotted looking frail as she left ITV studios in London, following her breakdown on Loose Women over her mother Amy's terminal illness. Price revealed she had fallen off her horse on her Instagram story, sharing a snap of herself at home watching cartoons.
Clearly shaken, the riding enthusiast admitted she was being comforted by her children after the incident, writing in the caption: 'After having a bad fall off my horse earlier nothing better than cuddles with Bunny on the sofa with fire on.' MailOnline has contacted Price's representatives for more information.
The disaster follows Price cutting a visibly strained figure upon departure from ITV after breaking down in tears over her mother's condition. The brave presenter was later praised by the British Lung Foundation for her openness, after discussing mum Amy's condition Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), the same illness that killed Keith Chegwin.
Price was escorted off Loose Women on Tuesday after breaking down in floods of tears while discussing her mother's terminal lung condition, exclaiming: 'I don't want her to die.' The mother-of-five has endured a tough few months following news of her husband Kieran Hayler's affair with their children's nanny, with her mum being diagnosed just days before with IPF at age 60.
