Layton Williams, known for his roles in Bad Education, the West End production of Cabaret, and his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, has joined the cast of Netflix's Geek Girl for its second season. The teen series, based on Holly Smale's bestselling young adult novels, follows the story of Harriet Manners, a socially awkward schoolgirl who becomes a model.
Williams will play the character Onassis, who enters Harriet's world of modelling and school life. Filming for the new season has begun in London, with the cast sharing photos from their first readthrough. Em Carey, who stars as Harriet, was pictured in a dogtooth suit with shaved blonde hair alongside co-star Liam Woodrum.
