Colin McFarlane, known for his role as Anton Burrage in Death in Paradise, is set to reunite with Kris Marshall in the upcoming series of Beyond Paradise. McFarlane originally appeared opposite Marshall's character, DI Humphrey Goodman, during his time as principal detective in Saint Marie.
The new series, arriving later this month on BBC iPlayer and BBC One, will also feature guest stars including Susan George, Phil Daniels, Michael Cochrane, Melanie Walters, and Vincent Franklin. Returning regulars include Zahra Ahmadi, Dylan Llewellyn, Barbara Flynn, Felicity Montagu, Jamie Bamber, Melina Sinadinou, Eva Feiler, and Phil Daniels.
The synopsis reveals that DI Humphrey Goodman and the team will investigate a novelist's predicted death, a Dark Morris night gone wrong, a reappearing treasure map, and a vengeful mermaid sighting. Meanwhile, Humphrey and Martha navigate married life and face a decision that could change the station forever.
The Paradise franchise continues to achieve global acclaim, with Death in Paradise series 15 currently airing and Australian spin-off Return to Paradise concluding its second series.
