It has been 44 years since the iconic 1980s series Knight Rider first aired, launching David Hasselhoff and his co-stars into global stardom. The show, which followed crime-fighter Michael Knight and his artificially intelligent car KITT, ran for four seasons from 1982.
David Hasselhoff, now 73, lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Welsh model Hayley Roberts, 45. He is recovering from knee and hip replacement surgeries and has been seen using a walking frame. He continues to act, with an upcoming project Kung Fury 2. Hasselhoff married Roberts in 2018 and has two daughters from his previous marriage to Pamela Bach.
Patricia McPherson, who played Bonnie Barstow, retired from acting in 1991 to focus on environmental activism. Now 71, she lives in Los Angeles and works to preserve the Ballona Wetlands. She has been married to James Garrett for decades.
Rebecca Holden, best known as April Curtis, remains active in entertainment, working on independent films and as a singer. She released a duets CD called 'Dreams Come True' and recently appeared in Was Once a Hero (2023). She divorced her second husband, Joel Diamond, in December 2023.
Peter Parros, who played a regular role, continues to act, recently appearing in Who Are You People and BET+ series The Final Say. He is also co-chair of the International Black Theatre Festival and lives with his wife Jerri Morgan and their two children.
Edward Mulhare, who played Devon Miles, continued acting after the show, hosting Secrets & Mysteries and guest-starring on Murder, She Wrote and MacGyver. He died from lung cancer on 24 May 1997, aged 74. He never married and had no children.
