Irish Crime Drama Kin Now Available in Full on BBC iPlayer

The acclaimed Irish crime drama Kin, which holds a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, is now available in its entirety on BBC iPlayer. The series, set in Dublin, follows the fictional Kinsella crime family and stars Charlie Cox of Daredevil: Born Again and Game of Thrones' Aidan Gillen.

Kin originally premiered on RTÉ in Ireland. The second season's premiere aired on BBC One earlier this week, but all episodes from both seasons 1 and 2 are now available to stream. The cast also includes Peaky Blinders' Emmett J Scanlan, Clare Dunne from The Last Duel, Outlander's Maria Doyle Kennedy, and Ciarán Hinds in season 1.

Sue Deeks, head of programme acquisitions at the BBC, said of the series: 'All I will say is if you found the first series exciting and engrossing, just wait until you see the twists and turns in series two!' She previously described Kin as 'a powerful and intense story of love, grief, family and crime, and its devastating ramifications'.

In a 2022 interview with Digital Spy, Charlie Cox discussed adopting an Irish accent for his role as Michael Kinsella, calling the process 'challenging, stressful, nerve-wracking'. He added: 'I work very, very hard with accents. I kind of immerse myself, and work with an accent coach.'

Kin airs on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK, on RTÉ in Ireland, and on AMC+ in the US.
