Katie Price is reportedly set to appear in a documentary about her estranged husband Lee Andrews, produced by Louis Theroux's company Mindhouse. The programme, reportedly in development at Sky, is said to take a deep dive into the alleged shady dealings of Andrews, who has faced accusations of being a conman.
The untitled documentary is claimed to feature Price alongside other exes of the Dubai-based businessman. Reports suggest it will also give Andrews the right to reply to allegations face-to-face.
Production details and scope
An insider on the production told The Sun: 'This show examines the full story of Lee Andrews and the people he has affected.' The source added: 'As with all Sky/Mindhouse documentaries this will be a 360-degree look at the story. It won't centre on a single contributor but will feature a range of voices to uncover the truth behind the headlines.'
Mindhouse, co-owned by Theroux, previously produced Sky's acclaimed Price documentary Nothing to Hide, which charted the former glamour model's rise to fame and the impact of living life in the public eye.
Background of the couple's split
The news follows Price appearing to end her marriage to Andrews in recent months. She told Good Morning Britain they had split amid his prolonged incarceration in Al Awir prison in Dubai. Since his release, Andrews has spoken of plans to return to the UK and shared an online fundraiser seeking £250,000 to facilitate his return.
His imprisonment came after months of bizarre claims. Price reportedly ended the marriage over WhatsApp, amid claims she discovered Andrews had just £2.22 in his cryptocurrency account, where he had said he had millions.
Allegations against Andrews
Andrews has faced a series of accusations since marrying Price, including misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner. He presented himself as CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an investor in 'SpaceX Hybrid Fitness', with social media boasting luxury cars and apparent celebrity encounters. Several photos were later alleged to have been created using AI.
He was also banned from leaving Dubai, reportedly after serving time in Al Awir prison for suspected fraud, allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in an ex-girlfriend's name without her knowledge. He was jailed again on July 11 after allegedly attempting to raise around £120,000 he believed he owed, and has faced accusations of scamming a string of women, faking a kidnapping, and teasing a fake pregnancy.
Andrews has disputed Price's account, insisting she had looked at the wrong account because she is not 'tech-savvy' and maintaining he really is a multimillionaire. Price has stressed she did not end the marriage over the fortune claims, but because the alleged lies became too much. She was pictured last week wearing her wedding ring, hinting at possible reconciliation.
