The Princess of Wales has once again demonstrated her penchant for affordable elegance, wearing a Monica Vinader pearl necklace valued at £144 during her recent tour of Italy. The necklace, which features a delicate gold chain and a teardrop-shaped pearl pendant, has become a staple in Kate's jewellery collection.
Kate personalised the piece with meaningful charms, including oak and acorn symbols from Asprey London. These charms reference the Middleton family coat of arms, which was granted to her father ahead of her royal wedding in 2011. The Asprey charms can cost up to £7,500, but the necklace itself remains accessible.
The Italy trip marked Kate's first overseas visit since her cancer diagnosis in 2023, and the charms served as symbols of her support system. The necklace, available from Monica Vinader, can be customised with various chain lengths and additional charms from other retailers like Abbott Lyon and Astrid & Miyu.
