Jonathan Ross Urges BBC to Release Unseen Celebrity Traitors Footage

Jonathan Ross has called on the BBC to broadcast footage cut from the first celebrity edition of the hit series Traitors. The talk show host, who took part in the spin-off, admitted he found the experience uncomfortable after being chosen as a Traitor alongside Cat Burns and Alan Carr.

Ross praised his fellow presenter Alan Carr, saying viewers are missing some of his best moments. "There are so many funny things he did and said which I know already should have been in the first episode which weren't," Ross said on his podcast Real Talk with Honey and Jonathan Ross. "It's like there's this Alan Carr gold waiting out there to be spun into something."

Fans have echoed Ross's sentiments, with one writing: "We need to see the stuff they cut out with Alan Carr." Another added: "They need to release an extended version of the outtakes... Even if they just release them on BBC iPlayer." Some have suggested a format similar to Taskmaster's outtakes.

Ross also revealed that a second celebrity series is already being planned, with friends having approached him for advice. However, he confessed he "didn't actually enjoy it" due to the constant lying required as a Traitor. "We were lying all the time... you're on the defence all the time," he explained.
