Jo and Kush have been crowned winners of series six of the BBC's Race Across the World, completing a gruelling 12,000-kilometre journey across Europe and Asia. The pair finished ahead of father-and-daughter duo Andrew and Molly, siblings Katie and Harrison, and in-laws Mark and Margo.
Emotional Victory
Reflecting on their achievement, Kush expressed pride in representing their hometown. "I hope we did Liverpool proud. Big up scousers!" he said. In an interview with the BBC, he described winning as a "fever dream" but admitted it came with a "bittersweet feeling" because the adventure had come to an end.
Jo revealed that finishing first after leg six was the moment he believed they could win, calling the entire experience "the best trip I have ever experienced."
Prize Money Plans
The winners received £20,000, part of which they plan to use for a house deposit. Their victory marks a memorable end to a challenging and transformative journey.
