Jenna Elfman has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming drama series The Interrogator, playing the boss and handler of Stephen Fry’s character. The show, which received a 12-episode straight-to-series order for the 2026-27 season, is produced by Lionsgate Television and Fox Entertainment.
Elfman, known for roles in Dharma & Greg and Fear the Walking Dead, will portray Woodrow, a former CIA rising star now working at the D.I.A. as a handler for Fry’s team. Her character views the role as a demotion and often clashes with Fry’s character, Conrad Henry, a former MI6 agent who uses unconventional methods to interrogate criminals.
The series, written and executive produced by Fry, also stars Luke Kleintank and Michael Beach as series regulars. Fry’s Conrad Henry is described as a quirky genius who can ‘lockpick the minds’ of dangerous criminals when traditional methods fail.
Elfman’s recent credits include three seasons of AMC’s Dark Winds and two seasons of ABC’s Shifting Gears, where she played Tim Allen’s love interest. The pilot script was written by Fry with revisions from Matt Pyken and William Harper; Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie serve as showrunners.
