The Aquaman actor played bass alongside frontman Mike Hayes and drummer Kenny Dale, wearing a simple black tank top as the trio entertained a packed crowd.
Fan footage of the sound check, reposted on Instagram, particularly excited viewers, showcasing the 46-year-old's muscular physique as he rocked out on bass. The show marked the band's first appearance in the Joshua Tree area, drawing eager fans to the venue.
While acting remains his primary focus, music has become an increasingly important creative outlet for Momoa, who frequently shares his passion for live performance, motorcycles, and adventure on social media. The appearance comes during a busy period, as he balances his film career with entrepreneurial projects, including his Meili Vodka brand.
Away from the spotlight, Momoa is a devoted father to daughter Lola Lolani, who turns 19 this month, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 17, whom he shares with former wife Lisa Bonet. He recently spoke proudly about Nakoa-Wolf's casting in Dune: Part Three, noting the teenager earned the role independently. 'He's done it all on his own, and good for him,' Momoa said, adding, 'You want your children to be better than you, and I really, actually believe he is.'
Momoa will reprise his role in Dune: Part Three, due in cinemas this December. Other upcoming projects include In the Hand of Dante, Supergirl, and Street Fighter, all set for release before the end of 2026.
