Jasmine Harman Recalls Emotional Moment on A Place In The Sun After Buyer's Deal Falls Through

Jasmine Harman, the presenter of Channel 4's A Place In The Sun, has spoken about a particularly upsetting episode during filming. She described how a potential buyer broke down in tears after a property she was about to make an offer on was sold to someone else.

In an interview with the Express, Harman recalled the incident involving a young woman who had been through a 'terrible time'. The presenter explained that the woman and her best friend had decided to make an offer on a property, but when Harman called the agent, she was told it had already been sold that morning.

Harman said: 'It was awful. I had to inform her that we had received this update from the agent and that someone else had purchased it. She was just about to make an offer on it. We all cried our eyes out. It was horrendous. It was the worst.'

Despite such setbacks, Harman also shared a heartwarming story about a couple named Lisa and Paul. Lisa had cancer, and Paul had cared for her. With a low budget and money from health insurance, they found an apartment through the show. Harman revisited them for the follow-up series A New Life In The Sun and was delighted to see their transformation.

She said: 'It was so heartwarming to see how they changed their lives so dramatically with their health and new opportunity to travel and make new friends. That was a really emotional revisit for me.'
