Former Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo are set to release a new parenting documentary on Disney+ titled Raising Chelsea, which follows their journey from pregnancy to labour. The three-part series premieres on April 2, offering an intimate look at the couple's experience as they prepare for parenthood.

In a recent interview, Sophie revealed that the birth scene was something she initially did not want to include. She explained that while Jamie tends to share everything, she finds that approach 'a little bit scary.' However, after filming began, she realised the show would not work unless they were completely open.

The birth footage was captured unexpectedly when Sophie's anaesthetist used her phone to film the entire labour. After reviewing the footage, the couple felt emotional and decided to keep it in the documentary, describing it as 'real life' and the greatest day of their lives.

Jamie clarified that he did not pressure Sophie into filming the birth scene. The couple, who became parents to baby Ziggy in December, have been together since meeting on Made in Chelsea. Jamie proposed at the Rosewood London hotel in December 2021, the same venue as their first date.

Raising Chelsea will be available to stream on Disney+ from April 2.
