Plot Overview
The two-season series follows two distinct criminal cases involving police officers in the Manchester area, both investigated by DS Susan Reinhart, played by Rosie Cavaliero.
Season One
Grace star John Simm leads the first season as DC Marcus Farrow, a detective whose ex-wife and sons are brutally murdered. All evidence points to him as the perpetrator. After a police van crash allows him to escape, Farrow goes on the run to uncover the real killer. He eventually discovers that DS Reinhardt's boss, DCI Andrea MacKenzie (Anastasia Hille), was responsible for the murders.
Season Two
Life on Mars actor Philip Glenister headlines the second season as prison officer David Murdoch. While accompanying inmate Jules Hope (MyAnna Buring) on a routine hospital visit, Murdoch receives a call that his pregnant daughter Lucy (Sammy Winward) has been kidnapped. He must follow the captors' orders to ensure her survival.
