ITV has released the first trailer for Graham Norton's upcoming game show, The Neighbourhood. The 11-part series, announced in February 2025, sees six households move into a Peak District location called 'KeepYourEnemies Close' to compete in a 'street-sized popularity contest' for a £250,000 cash prize.
The show combines high-stakes competition, epic challenges, and domestic drama. Norton walks through the picturesque community in the teaser, which also showcases pun-themed locations like 'Goa Way' and 'The Uppin Arms'. The presenter teases that contestants will face 'huge challenges'.
The trailer received a positive response on social media. One Instagram user commented, 'I need directions to the uppin arms please.' A Facebook viewer who saw a pilot episode wrote, 'This is a great game show reality tv all mixed together. In my opinion people will be talking about it for days.'
Norton said of the project: 'Like everyone, I'm always intrigued by what goes on behind closed doors. Add to that some dastardly challenges and a life changing prize and I'm hooked.' ITV's director of Entertainment and Daytime, Katie Rawcliffe, added: 'The Neighbourhood offers audiences the perfect blend of high-stakes competition and reality drama.'
The Neighbourhood starts this April on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
