ITV has announced that the critically acclaimed US science-fiction series Fringe will be available on its streaming service ITVX from September. All five seasons of the show, which originally aired on Fox from 2008 to 2013, will be free to watch for UK viewers.
Created by J.J. Abrams, Fringe features a star-studded cast including Anna Torv (The Last of Us), Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek, The Affair), John Noble (The Lord of the Rings), Lance Reddick (Lost, The Wire), and Kirk Acevedo (Band of Brothers). The series follows an unlikely trio investigating a deadly mystery involving unexplained events that blur the line between the possible and the impossible.
Described as a thriller that promises to “thrill and terrify” audiences, Fringe explores themes of science fiction and the paranormal. The show gained a dedicated following in the US and has been praised for its complex storytelling and character development.
ITVX continues to expand its library of international content, with Fringe joining other popular dramas on the platform. The series will be available to stream from September, with no subscription required.
