ITV's upcoming espionage series Betrayal will see Shaun Evans, best known for his role in Endeavour, team up with Romola Garai (Vigil) and Zahra Ahmadi (Beyond Paradise). The four-part thriller follows a mid-level MI5 officer navigating the rapidly evolving intelligence landscape while maintaining a personal relationship with his partner.
HELLO!'s Acting TV Editor praised the series, calling it a compelling spy thriller with a captivating story, high-stakes tension, and emotional depth. Betrayal airs on ITV1 at 9 pm on Sunday 8 February and will be available to stream on ITVX.
This week also sees the return of Silent Witness on BBC One, with Emilia Fox and David Caves reprising their roles. The new season picks up after Nikki and Jack's wedding as they hunt a suspected hitman in Birmingham.
Other highlights include King Charles's documentary Finding Harmony: A King's Vision, narrated by Kate Winslet, arriving on Prime Video on Friday, and the Winter Olympics 2026 opening ceremony on BBC Two. Gogglebox season 27 also returns on Friday.
