The 27-year-old has been in a relationship with model Anaïs Gallagher, daughter of Oasis musician Noel Gallagher, since 2023. The couple made their relationship official the following year when Anaïs shared a photo with Callum on her Instagram Story. Since then, they have enjoyed numerous adventures across Wales, most notably appearing together at the BAFTA Cymru awards last year.

Speaking to GQ, Callum and Anaïs revealed their aspirations for the future, expressing a desire for a more peaceful life together. When asked about their shared dreams, Callum said: "Get a little farm, maybe." Anaïs added: "I would love to raise chickens. But the one downside of moving to the countryside is there's no SoulCycle." Callum then joked: "We could franchise it? Bring it to the Lake District?" Anaïs agreed: "Let's do that."

He has also graced the stage, portraying The Emcee in the West End production of Cabaret alongside Madeline Brewer at the Playhouse Theatre. He was cast in Gary Owen's play Romeo and Julie for the Royal National Theatre in 2020, though it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2023, it emerged that Callum had secured the role of Frankie Goes to Hollywood singer Holly Johnson in a biographical film titled Relax, while also featuring in Michael Sheen's BBC series The Way. Callum was born in Pontypridd to parents Alison and Keith, spending his formative years in Tonyrefail and Porth. His grandfather, Bryn Howells, held life membership with the Treorchy Male Choir. Callum studied at Treorchy Comprehensive School, where he served as Head Boy, and attended classes at Rhondda Stage School in Barry, participating in the National Youth Music Theatre. He was spotted by an agent at age 16 and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

His background will serve him well for his newest venture, as Callum is due to appear in a brand-new thriller set and shot in Wales. The Channel 4 series Deadpoint follows his character, Aaron, as he attempts to conquer a newfound fear of rock climbing after a traumatic incident. Expressing his enthusiasm, Callum said: "Gripping, if you pardon the pun, is the word really. I'm so excited about it."
