Home and Away has confirmed the return of fan-favourite couple Darryl "Brax" Braxton and Ricky Sharpe in an "epic" event, a decade after their exits. Actors Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen will reprise their roles in special episodes filmed in Western Australia, set to air from Friday 17 April 2026.
The storyline follows Brax, Ricky and their son Casey (Austin Cutcliffe), who have built a new life working on a cattle station in the WA outback. Their peaceful existence is threatened when a desperate Tane (Ethan Browne), framed for a crime he didn't commit, arrives seeking Brax's help to disappear.
As police launch a nationwide manhunt for Tane, harbouring a fugitive could lead authorities to the family and jeopardise the life they have carefully constructed. The press release notes that the stakes couldn't be higher.
Filming took place last October at iconic Western Australian locations, including Elizabeth Quay in Perth, Bullara Station near Exmouth, and the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area. Peacocke played Brax from 2011 to 2016, winning two Logie Awards for most popular actor. Sveen portrayed Ricky from 2013 to 2016, winning the Logie for most popular new talent in 2014.
