Idris Elba's 2014 crime thriller 'No Good Deed' has found new life on Netflix, currently ranking at number 10 on the platform's trending films chart. The film, which originally divided critics and audiences, stars Elba as Colin, a murderer who escapes prison and terrorises a woman and her family after she lets him use her phone.
Directed by Sam Miller and written by Aimée Lagos, the film features Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson as Terri, the protagonist. The cast also includes Leslie Bibb, Kate del Castillo, and Henry Simmons. Despite its star-studded lineup, 'No Good Deed' received a dismal 13% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics calling it 'dull, derivative, and generally uninspired'.
