Hollyoaks viewers were left on edge after Wednesday's episode ended with a cliffhanger that could signal the death of Frankie Osborne. The character, along with Charlie Dean and Vicky Grant, was involved in a car crash that saw them rushed to hospital with no immediate update on their condition.
The crash occurred when the trio's car clipped a van carrying the Keane family, who were also taken to hospital. Teenager Caleb Keane suffered a serious injury after being thrown through the windscreen, leaving his future uncertain. Emergency services initially missed the second vehicle, which was only located after worried loved ones raised the alarm.
Given that spoilers had previously indicated Frankie would be leaving for London, fans now fear she may be killed off. Social media was flooded with concern, with one viewer posting: 'So now it's out of Frankie and Vicky which I was so sure they were both gonna be fine.' Another added: 'What the hell please let my frankie be ok.'
Meanwhile, actress Rebecca Ryan, who plays Beth Keane, discussed her character's tense relationship with father Jack Osborne. She told The Mirror: 'She doesn't really know much about her family and as far as Beth's concerned, Jack's left her to get on with her life... There's definitely a resentment on Beth's side.'
