Heather Graham, Rosie Perez, and Ben Schnetzer are among the latest cast members confirmed for the fourth season of HBO's 'The White Lotus', set to film in France. The series, created by Mike White, will follow its usual format of a murder mystery wrapped in social satire, focusing on a group of hotel guests and employees over a week.
Other new additions include Scandinavian actors Tobias Santelmann and Frida Gustavsson, and French actress Laura Smet. They join previously announced cast members such as Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, and Kumail Nanjiani. Filming is expected to begin next month, with the Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez rumoured as a primary location.
As with previous seasons, specific character details remain under wraps. It is unclear whether Graham, Perez, and Schnetzer will play guests, if Santelmann and Gustavsson will portray a couple, or if Smet's role is a hotel employee or local resident. The show's connection to the Cannes Film Festival, which occurs nearby during production, has not been confirmed.
Graham recently starred in the action comedy horror film 'They Will Kill You', while Perez is known for her Emmy-nominated role in 'The Flight Attendant'. Schnetzer appears in Taylor Sheridan's series 'The Madison', and Santelmann plays the title role in Netflix's 'Detective Hole'. Gustavsson is best known for 'Vikings: Valhalla', and Smet is the daughter of French icons Nathalie Baye and Johnny Hallyday.
