ITV's acclaimed detective drama Grace, based on the best-selling novels by Peter James, has made its highly anticipated return for a sixth season. The series, which is both set and filmed in the vibrant coastal city of Brighton, premiered earlier this month, captivating audiences once again. John Simm reprises his central role as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, alongside Richie Campbell as DI Glenn Branson and Zoë Tapper as Cleo Morey, forming the core investigative team that fans have come to admire.
Familiar Faces and New Additions
Viewers will instantly recognise John Simm from his iconic performances in Life on Mars, Mad Dogs, The Village, and his memorable portrayal of The Master in Doctor Who. Meet the Guest Cast of Capture You Dead
Peter De Jersey takes on the role of Stephen Welling, bringing his extensive television background to the series. He is best known for playing Jerome Taylor in the long-running police drama The Bill and Steve Waring in Holby City. His credits also include notable parts in Broadchurch as Brian Young, Atlantis as Goran, and Warrior Nun as Kristian. More recently, he appeared as DCI Devereaux in Sanctuary and Andrew Bains in Steal.
Robert Lonsdale portrays Carl Orton, a character that adds depth to the episode's narrative. Audiences may recognise him from his role as Connor in the comedy series Chewing Gum and as Tommy in The Interceptor. His filmography includes appearances in Finding Alice, Chivalry, and a recent stint in The Marlow Murder Club.
Amir Wilson stars as Noah Welling, bringing his rising talent to the screen. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Will Parry in the HBO and BBC One series His Dark Materials and as Tiuri in the Netflix adventure series The Letter for the King. His film work includes the 2020 adaptation of The Secret Garden and the 2024 feature The Return, where he played Philetius.
Lucy Speed appears as Gina Poole, drawing on her extensive experience in British television. She is best known for her long-running role as Natalie in EastEnders from 1994 to 2004 and as Stevie Moss in The Bill. Additional credits include parts in Jamie Johnson, Unforgotten, The Rumour, and The Hack, and she currently voices Stella Pryor in the popular podcast series The Archers.
Michelle Greenidge plays Dr Noreen Allen, adding a medical perspective to the investigation. She is celebrated for her roles as Valerie in the Netflix comedy drama After Life, Lola in the BBC Two comedy Mandy, and PC Williams in the series Code 404. Her diverse portfolio also includes appearances in Queenie as Maggie Jenkins, Kaos as The Tacita, and Doctor Who as Carla Sunday.

The episode also features Rachelle Diedericks and Dylan Corbett-Bader, both known for their roles in Andor, as Rachel Sanderson and Davey Carlton respectively.
