In the finale, Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant) reunite to find the missing Book of Life. God (Tanya Moodie) appears in human form and offers them a chance to create a new universe without angels or demons, which they accept.
After a time jump, Aziraphale is shown as a human bookshop owner, where he meets a human version of Crowley, now an author. The pair share an instant connection, go on a date, and eventually marry and grow old together. This heartwarming conclusion moved fans to tears.
