Gethin Jones took a moment during Tuesday's episode of Morning Live to congratulate Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones after he announced he is expecting his second child with his wife, Chyna Mills.
Presenting the BBC One programme alongside Helen Skelton on November 3, Gethin welcomed guests including Louise Minchin, Harry Kind, Dr. Ranj Singh, and Neil Jones. The show covered energy bills, the dangers of plug-in energy-saving devices, how to spot misleading shopping deals, and the truth about the carnivore diet.
On-Air Congratulations
It did not take long for the hosts to turn their attention to Neil's news. "Neil's on Strictly Fitness today. Before we get into that though, you've had some exciting news that you've been [keeping]. I mean, you've kept it pretty secret, [until] yesterday!" Gethin said.
"I know! I'm gonna be a daddy again," Neil replied, moments before the studio erupted in applause. "Congratulations!" Helen added. A picture of Neil, Chyna, and their daughter, Havana, was then shown on screen, as Gethin remarked: "So, there's the fam. And you're adding to the clan. How are you feeling about it?"
Neil Shares His Excitement
Neil shared: "Good! I'm excited," before Gethin asked: "More importantly, how's Chyna feeling about it?" The pro dancer went on to say: "She's feeling incredible. I'm taking care of her, well, not this week, but normally I'm taking care of her! [Making] sure she has all the meals and everything she needs."
Helen shared: "Aw, you're a good match," before Gethin noted: "There's going to be some fireworks in the Jones household over the next few months, which is actually our theme for Strictly Fitness, isn't it?" Ahead of Bonfire Night and Diwali celebrations, Neil chose to "light up the skies" with his choice of Strictly Fitness routine, helping viewers master the Samba shimmy from Fleur East and Vito Coppola's 2022 performance.

BBC viewers were quick to share their well wishes after Neil was congratulated on air. "Congratulations, Neil. Wonderful news," one person wrote on Instagram. Neil and Chyna announced their baby news on Instagram earlier this week. Captioned simply with a white heart emoji, the black-and-white video showed the family of three walking in a field before unveiling Chyna's baby bump. Neil planted a kiss on her stomach before they swung their daughter, Havana, in the air. It did not take long for Neil's Strictly co-stars and fans to share their excitement at the news.
