Georgina Rodriguez Returns to Brunette at Cannes After Platinum Blonde Debut
Georgina Rodriguez Goes Brunette Again at Cannes Film Festival

Cristiano Ronaldo's fiancée Georgina Rodriguez made a striking appearance at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, reverting to her natural brunette hair just hours after debuting a dramatic platinum blonde look. The 32-year-old influencer turned heads on the red carpet at the star-studded Fjord premiere, showcasing her brunette tresses styled in loose finger waves.

Red Carpet Glamour

Georgina stunned in a strapless silver lace dress featuring a ruched bustier and fishtail skirt, which accentuated her figure. She accessorised with a large emerald choker and her $3 million engagement ring, a gift from the 41-year-old billionaire footballer. Earlier in the day, she posed in a blue satin shirt with a black lace bra at the 2026 Kering Women in Motion Awards.

Jet Set Lifestyle

Georgina, who resides in Saudi Arabia with Ronaldo, has enjoyed a glamorous lifestyle since their romance began a decade ago. The couple, both highly followed on Instagram, got engaged on August 11, 2025, after eight years of dating. Georgina announced the news on Instagram with the caption, 'Yes, I do.'

The Proposal Story

Ronaldo revealed the proposal details to Piers Morgan, explaining it happened spontaneously at 1 am. He said, 'My daughters were in bed sleeping. One of my friends gave me the ring to offer Gio, and as I was giving her the ring, my two kids come in and say, 'Daddy, you're going to give the ring to mum and you're going to ask her to get married.' I said, 'Wow, this is the right moment.' It was unexpected but perfect.'

The footballer also shared his efforts to find the ideal ring: 'She asked me for a ring because it was one of her dreams to have a good stone. I worked hard and finally found what she loves.'

Family Life

The couple have daughters Alana and Bella together, and welcomed twins Eva Maria and Mateo via surrogacy. Their twin son Angel sadly passed away shortly after birth. Ronaldo also has a son, Cristiano Jr, from a previous relationship.

Georgina and Ronaldo met in 2016 when she worked as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in Madrid. They moved to Saudi Arabia after Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr in 2022 on a record £175 million-a-year contract. The move effectively ended his top-level European career, as he had hoped to join a Champions League club but the deal never materialised.

Ronaldo reportedly earns £300 per minute in Saudi Arabia, but last year admitted he wishes he could leave and only play for Portugal. He also holds a stake in Al-Nassr, boosting his fortune. The footballer has faced criticism for promoting Saudi Arabia, a nation with a controversial human rights record, including crackdowns on women's rights activists and LGBTQ+ individuals.
