Genius Dog Trick Gets Amanda Holden's Attention

A woman who spotted Amanda Holden while walking her dog on the Isles of Scilly has been praised for her genius method of getting the star's attention without being intrusive.

Georgia May, a resident of the picturesque archipelago off Cornwall's coast, was out with her four-legged friend Maya when she noticed the Britain's Got Talent panellist chatting with a group of people nearby.

Rather than interrupting the conversation, Georgia devised a clever plan: she sent Maya over to the group, knowing the dog would naturally draw attention. The tactic worked perfectly, as Maya ran straight to Amanda, who warmly greeted the pup with ear scratches.

In the video, Amanda can be heard asking, 'Oh, who is this one?' before Georgia approached. Later, Georgia posted a photo of herself with Amanda, captioning it: 'What a fab day yesterday. Pimped out Maya to say hi to Amanda ... legend dog. Amanda - what a lush lady. Truly so lovely.'

Amanda was not the only notable visitor to the Isles of Scilly that week; Prince William, Duke of Cornwall, was also on a two-day tour of the South West. Georgia captured a photo of William but it is unclear if he met Maya.

Followers on Instagram were delighted by the encounter, with many praising Maya for understanding her mission. One commenter wrote: 'Maya didn't mess around, she knew the assignment!' Another added: 'She understood the assignment totally!' A third said: 'Brilliant, I knew Maya wouldn't let you down.'
