Former Liverpool and England footballer Michael Owen, 42, attended Chester Races on Thursday with his wife Louise, daughter Gemma, and his mother Jeanette. The family was present for the Boodles May Festival Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse in Cheshire.
Michael Owen looked sharp in a blue suit, while his daughter Gemma, 19, wore a white jumpsuit. Gemma, a model and former equestrian dressage representative for Great Britain, recently launched her own beachwear brand, OG Beachwear, and modelled one of her own designs at the event.
Gemma has spoken about the support from her parents, particularly her mother Louise, in her equestrian career. She also addressed online trolls who claimed she used her father's money to start her business, stating that her father has been 'tough' and told her he is not funding the venture.
Michael and Louise Owen also have two other children, James, 16, and Jessica, 12.
