Davis's Career Journey

Last week, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live, telling host Andy Cohen about the role: "It was my first thing I auditioned for and I got it. I'd never been on a set, and I thought, 'Maybe there's some special movie acting that I never learned.' So, I was a little concerned about it."

After Tootsie, she appeared in the 1986 sci-fi horror The Fly alongside then-boyfriend Jeff Goldblum. She later starred in Beetlejuice and The Accidental Tourist, earning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. Her 1991 film Thelma & Louise, approaching its 35th anniversary on May 24, became a box office sensation. She also appeared opposite Tom Hanks and Madonna in A League of Their Own (1992), followed by Cutthroat Island and the Stuart Little franchise.

Davis shares three children with ex-husband Reza Jarrahy: daughter Alizeh, 24, and fraternal twin sons Kaiis and Kian, 22. She has three other former spouses: Richard Emmolo (1981-1984), Jeff Goldblum (1987-1990), and Renny Harlin (1993-1998).
