GB News host halts show as guest fumes she 'lost control'

GB News presenter Nana Akua was forced to halt her evening programme after a fierce clash with political commentator Andy Twelves descended into chaos. The pair engaged in a heated exchange during which the guest accused the host of having "lost control" of the panel.

Host and guest clash on air

The panel included former Tory MP Esther McVey and fellow GB News presenter Will Kingston. Tensions escalated when Nana reminded Andy: "I'm hosting the show," to which he responded: "Are you? I don't think viewers would've caught that from your performance there, your poor hosting skills, you lost control of the panel."

After the journalist hit back with "Have you quite finished?", the writer bluntly replied: "No," prompting the 55-year-old to cross her arms and add: "Alright, what else have you got to say, go on."

Viewers react on social media

When Andy fumed: "You probably want to wrap up the show," Nana suggested: "Let's hear it. What else have you got to say? Let's get it all out now, so when you've managed to purge yourself of what it is you have against me and once you've done that, we can get on with the show."

As the guest continued to interject, GB News viewers took to social media with criticism. One claimed: "Andy Twelves looks drunk on @GBNEWS right now, and his attack on Nana Akua was about as unhinged as it gets. Take the fool off the air."

Another wrote: "What an immature, rude, arrogant, vile, nasty leftie @andytwelves is, I really don’t know how @Nanaakua1 kept her cool. Nana is a true professional, whilst Twelves is a spoiled brat."
