Steven Atkinson, aged 31, passed away suddenly on Friday 29th May 2026. He is described as a dearly beloved son of Catherine and Anthony, brother to Alan and Kevin, and twin brother of Scott. He was a partner to Paula and father to Steven-Joe, Anthony, Olivia, Hallie, and the late Catherine. His funeral service was held at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 24th June at 11:45am.

Michael Armstrong, aged 74, died peacefully at home on 3rd June. He is survived by his wife Margaret, daughters Wendy and Margaret, and grandchildren. His cremation took place at West Road Crematorium on 29th June.

Alice Green, aged 77, passed away in Ashington on 17th June. She is remembered as a much-loved wife of Bobby and a devoted mother and grandmother.

John McAdam, aged 84, died peacefully on 12th June. He was a beloved husband of the late Pat and a much-loved dad of Paul and Michael.

Joe Stewart, aged 81, passed away peacefully in hospital on 16th June. He was a much-loved husband of Jean and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Diane Cuthbertson, aged 79, died peacefully at home on 13th June. She is survived by her children Carl, David, and Lisa, and her grandchildren.

Peter Stempczyk, aged 63, passed away peacefully on 12th June with his family by his side. He was a devoted husband to Carolyn and a loving father and grandfather.
