Sir Stephen Fry, 68, is set to return to television as one of the headline interviewees in the second series of ITV's The Assembly. The actor and comic will be joined by former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, 55, and Sir Lenny Henry, 67, among others.
The format, based on the French show Les Rencontres du Papotin, sees well-known figures questioned by a group of autistic, neurodivergent and learning-disabled interviewers. No topic is off limits, and no question is considered inappropriate.
ITV confirmed the expanded run will include seven episodes, beginning with Fry and Sturgeon. Other interviewees include Anna Maxwell Martin and rapper Aitch, with a further celebrity to be announced. The first series featured Danny Dyer, David Tennant, Jade Thirlwall and Gary Lineker.
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV's director of entertainment and daytime commissioning, said: 'This line-up really does offer something for everyone - The Assembly's no-holds-barred questions throw up all kinds of surprising revelations.' David Smyth, ITV's entertainment commissioning editor, added: 'These celebrities really do need to be ready for anything.'
The second series will air on ITV in April. The first series is available to stream on ITVX and STV Player.
