Expert exposes Michael Sheen's fatal flaw in Traitors final

A body language expert has revealed a "fatal flaw" in Michael Sheen's game just hours before tonight's BBC Celebrity Traitors final. Judi James, speaking on behalf of Paddy Power Bingo, suggested viewers might witness Sheen's undoing in the finale, which airs tonight (October 30) with an extended running time.

With seven contestants remaining, the surviving celebrities will compete one last time for a substantial prize fund for a charity of their choosing. Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny are hoping to maintain their web of lies and deception, though doubts are intensifying. This follows last night's gripping semi-final when James Acaster dropped a bombshell revelation.

James Acaster's bombshell confession

During the roundtable, James confessed he was a recruited Traitor, exposing himself throughout the debate. The unprecedented moment continues to have fans buzzing as his choice has transformed the whole game.

James explained how Sheen showed a "tell" that might be a fatal flaw when it comes to unmasking more Traitors. She said: "He is very brave about accusing them but his hand gesture at the prospect of doing so last night suggested he is a nice guy who intrinsically finds no pleasure in the human aspect of doing it in the finale."

Sheen's self-soothe ritual

James continued: "He named all three Traitors correctly but as he did so he massaged his hands together in a self-soothe ritual that would imply unease or discomfort."

She added: "His levels of empathy might make him falter in terms of continuing his full house win by going for the jugular and unmasking the full set of Traitors. He now appears able to do so but he might have to deal with some inner emotional squeamishness, rather than taking any total pleasure in the victory as someone like Ross might have done."

Maya Jama's tells

Speaking about when Maya and Michael were the last two remaining at the end of the night, Judi said Maya made some "tells" that hinted at her Traitor nature, including blinking first and her hand position, with her fingers entwined which signalled a desire to "both form a barrier and to avoid conversation".

The expert went on to say: "Maya will be aware that if she doesn't murder Michael, she has given her Traitor status away to him so blandly here that he will probably come for her, making Michael vulnerable. But she is also a professional show host who would be aware of the dramatic potential of a finale between herself and Michael, which might possibly tempt her to allow him to live."

Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One for the final.
