Eurovision 2026: Bulgaria Wins with Bangaranga, UK Last

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 grand final took place in Vienna, Austria, with a spectacular display of eccentric and epic performances. Bulgaria claimed its first victory, while the UK finished last.

Bulgaria's Dara, 27, won with her song Bangaranga, scoring 516 points. Israel's Noam Bettan came second with 343 points, and Romania's Alexandra Capitanescu third with 296 points. Dara won both the jury and public vote.

Speaking after her win, Dara said she had 'doubt and anxiety' about taking part. She thanked her husband for pushing her to compete, saying: 'In the beginning I was not sure if I want to come or not... and he was the one that he just pushed me.'

Australia's Delta Goodrem dazzled, Cyprus's Antigoni (a former Love Island contestant) gave her all, and the UK's Look Mum No Computer (Sam Battle) delivered an energetic performance but finished last. The contest featured a range of acts from the epic to the eccentric.
