The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna, Austria, in May 2026, following JJ's victory in 2025 with the operatic ballad 'Wasted Love'. The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday 16 May, with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May.
The UK will be represented by LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, performing the song 'Eins, Zwei, Drei' in the Grand Final. The act will also perform in the second Semi-Final, where UK viewers can vote. The UK's jury spokesperson for the Grand Final will be La Voix, who will deliver the douze points live from Salford.
BBC coverage will be hosted by Graham Norton for the Grand Final, with Rylan and Angela Scanlon commentating on the Semi-Finals. Radio coverage will be provided by Sara Cox and Rylan on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds. Tia Kofi will serve as digital roving reporter, providing behind-the-scenes content across BBC social media channels.
The Grand Final will feature 25 competing countries, including the pre-qualified Big Four. The opening act, 'The Queen of the Night', will see 2025 winner JJ perform with over 40 dancers and acrobats. The event will be hosted by Austrian stars Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski.
Accessibility features include live audio description on BBC iPlayer and BBC One, and live British Sign Language interpretation on the Red Button and iPlayer for all three live shows.
