A source told The Sun that Parker was never expected to stay long-term, describing him as ambitious and talented. He has already begun auditioning for other roles, though a return to Emmerdale is not ruled out.
Parker joined the show in 2019 as Luke Posner, brother of Lee Posner, who raped Victoria Sugden. His storyline included a homophobic attack by Lee, which led to Lee's death at the hands of Robert Sugden.
Off-screen, Parker is in a relationship with Kris Mochrie, who played his on-screen brother Lee. The couple met via Tinder and now share a penthouse in Manchester.
