Robert's Poaching Campaign
Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is determined to steal Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) from the Woolpack and has already started his poaching campaign before Marlon even arrives. When Marlon does turn up, Robert has his sales pitch ready.
On Tuesday, November 3, Marlon arrives at Robert's and tries to rebuff his attempts to persuade him to leave the Woolpack and work at his new restaurant. Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is less than impressed when he learns about this.
Robert is not easily put off, though. Despite Aaron's pleas that his mum, Chas, and Charity Dingle (Lucy Pargeter and Emma Atkins) will suffer from losing him, Robert presses on and offers Marlon the role of 'creative director'. Marlon's resolve melts, and he agrees to a coffee – has Robert snared a new chef?
Belle's Troubling Encounter
On Wednesday, November 4, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) warmly greets a couple of prospective clients for Take a Vow and sets to work trying to convince them to buy a premium package. The spectre of Tom King (James Chase) continues to loom over her.
When the groom insists that the bride use her full name rather than a nickname, Belle's blood runs cold as old, traumatic memories of Tom come flooding back, and she spots several major red flags. The question remains: are her clients in the midst of a controlling relationship, or are Belle's horrific experiences haunting her?
