Cain Dingle is arrested after being caught urinating in public following a drinking session after his catheter removal. Ashamed of his actions, he struggles with whether to confess the truth to his wife, Moira.
Kammy's Secret Exposed as Homeless
Belle tries to learn more about Kammy's family, but he remains evasive. After another fire at the farm, it emerges that Kammy is homeless and has been secretly sleeping in one of the barns. When Aaron and Robert find him holding a lighter and a petrol can, they assume he is the arsonist. Kammy claims he was planning to torch his car before fleeing, but as Aaron calls the police, Kammy is arrested.
Ross and Laurel's Budding Romance
Lydia fears Sam is avoiding her, while Ross asks Gabby to meet him. Gabby is disappointed when she realizes she is being set up as a dance partner for Sam. When Ross appears to eye up Gabby, Laurel warns him off. However, it becomes clear that Ross is actually interested in Laurel, who is also battling her attraction to him. When Gabby attempts to seduce Ross, he rejects her, leaving her humiliated.
New Arrivals Teased
Soap producer Laura Shaw hinted at new arrivals, including a Sugden, to strengthen the Tate and Sugden clans. Some fans speculate that the fire starter could be past character Andy Sugden or his son Jack, though actor Kelvin Fletcher has previously denied a return.
