In Friday's (November 2) episode of Emmerdale, Ross Barton (Michael Parr) departed the Dales for a new life in Liverpool. Viewers had anticipated the exit, as Ross and Rebecca White (Emily Head) had spent the week planning to start anew together, while fighting for custody of baby Seb and Ross's son Moses.
However, in Thursday's episode, Rebecca had a last-minute change of heart, leaving Ross to make the difficult decision to leave alone. On Friday, Robert visited a despondent Rebecca and offered to bring Seb to cheer her up.
As Ross prepared to leave, Rebecca had another change of heart and arrived in a car with baby Seb, announcing she would join him. Fans were pleased that Rebecca, after her ordeal, got a happy ending with Ross.
But Rebecca's decision to take Seb left many viewers heartbroken for Robert, especially after he told Aaron he had decided to let his son go.
